As a participating lender, we are proud to help Florida's "heroes"—from healthcare professionals and educators to law enforcement and active-duty military—achieve the dream of owning a home in the communities they serve.
- Substantial Assistance: Receive up to 5% of the first mortgage loan amount (maximum of $35,000) in down payment and closing cost assistance.
- 0% Interest Loan: The assistance comes as a 0%, non-amortizing second mortgage.

Who Qualifies as a Hometown Hero?
To qualify for this program, you must be a full-time employee of a Florida-based employer and work at least 35 hours per week. You must also be a first-time homebuyer and meet specific income and credit score requirements.
